Kings Kamp is just over a mile from the world famous, John Pennekamp State Park and Recreation area. The park has glass bottom boat rides, as well as snorkeling and SCUBA trips, to some of the most beautiful reefs in the world and the only living coral reef in the United States.

There are several dive boat concessions within easy walking distance of Kings Kamp, all offer daily trips to the reefs of John Pennekamp Coral Reef Park.

Kings Kamp is located right on Blackwater Sound. There are jet ski rentals, canoe and kayak rentals, boat rentals and more then a dozen restaurants right on the bay. The majority of the restaurants located on Florida Bay (Blackwater Sound) offer open air, waterfront dining.
